SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION 2012

Sun bleached spices and colourful sailors.

This season we imagined a European boat, with a crew from a Northern harbour city where the colours are sharp, bright and classic marine. They are heading for adventures in the spicy harbours of Africa, imagining enticing tastes and smells of another world. Red, petrol, navy, blue, and with the accent colour rust sums up the colour palette. We imagined the tones as water-colours in a painting, slightly faded. We have embraced the clear colours from Europe and mixed them with Africa's desert sun-bleached fabric and spices.

In addition, we present a work-wear theme in the collection, called "Made with Ease". The garments are washed, and some in indigo, commonly used in work-wear clothing. Indigo dye, which is used for colouring the threads in the fabric mill when making denim, is one of the most historical and individual fabrics in the world.
